Samuel was accepted to a festival at Univ of Maryland

Samuel was accepted after an audition to attend the National Orchestral Institute Festival held by the University of Maryland (UMD).

UMD has setup a trip around the country to audit the musicians for the event. In California, they visited two schools, San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Colburn School in Los Angeles.

About 80 musicians will be chosen, including flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, bass trombone, tuba, harp, percussion, violin, viola, cello, and double bass, to attend the festival from May 28 to June 27, 2015.

Samuel got full scholarship, including program fee and housing in a double room.
